The new government toll lists 27 new deaths, bringing the human toll to 15,036 deaths in the province since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In terms of new hospitalizations, Quebec recorded an increase of 25 people, for a total of 2,195 people currently hospitalized in the province due to COVID-19. In intensive care, there was a decrease of two people, for a total of 76 people admitted to these units. The new government balance sheet therefore shows a slight increase compared to the previous day’s balance sheet.
As for new infections, 1194 new cases are reported in the province. However, it should be noted that the number of cases listed is not representative of the current situation, since access to screening centers is reserved for priority clienteles.
