Like every month, Fabien Sudry, prefect of the Côte-d’Or, took stock of the past month in terms of the fight against illicit drug trafficking and use in the department. Under his authority and that of the Dijon public prosecutor, Olivier Caracotch, 131 anti-narcotics operations were carried out in April allowing seizures of drugs “representing a monetary equivalent of €496,385”, announced the prefecture in a press release.
Nineteen people implicated
The police, the gendarmerie, customs, the prison administration and all State services seized 22.78 kg of cannabis (resale price estimated at €204,939), 2.49 kg of cocaine (price of resale estimated at €164,208), 338 g of heroin (estimated resale price of €11,154), 23 g of ecstasy (estimated resale price of €230), €115,854 in cash and a firearm.
“These operations led to the questioning of 19 people and the issuance of 18 fixed criminal fines”, specifies the press release. “For police and gendarmerie crews alone, more than 1,234 hours of daily patrols were devoted to the fight against drug trafficking. »
