You have been warned, they will be on the lookout! On the occasion of this weekend of crossover winter holidays, the gendarmes of the Haute-Garonne will strengthen controls at Toulouse and throughout the department, Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 February 2021.
Guarantee the respect of barrier gestures
It’s Friday February 19, on her page Facebook, that the Haute-Garonne gendarmerie announced the news. In the viewfinder of the military, we find:
- respect for hours and exemptions on the occasion of curfew ;
- the rules of closing of restaurants et drinking establishments;
- respect for Terms of Access on French territory at the border;
- wearing the masque, more particularly, in public transport.
This strengthening of these controls aims to “guarantee compliance with barrier gestures and thus allow the epidemic to slow down”.
Disturbances to be expected on the periphery
If you want to be home before the curfew time, it is good to keep in mind that a biker demonstration is scheduled for the ring road on Saturday February 20. It is the Toulouse association The Templars on the road who is behind this action, which will take place 2 to 5 p.m..
The prohibition of motorized two-wheelers from inter-queue overruns, in force since 1is February, is at the heart of the biker protest.
