Near the crash when landing, the plane suddenly moves

United Airlines passengers were nervous when the plane made a sudden maneuver. The seat belt sign is on, but some are not.

Reporting from An independent UK on Friday (27/9/2024), the incident occurred on flight 2428 en route from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey to San Francisco International Airport.

The plane was preparing to make a low landing. However, the pilot was alerted that another aircraft was flying nearby.

In response, the crew slowed the aircraft’s descent to ensure a safe distance. The seat belt sign is on and passengers have been advised to remain seated.

The maneuver was successful in avoiding immediate danger from other aircraft. However, the sudden change in altitude caused injuries to passengers.

When the seat belt sign was turned on, there were two passengers who did not do so.

“United Flight 2428 descended into SFO on September 19 with the seat belt sign on when it slowed down on its way down to report other aircraft at lower altitudes,” the airline said.

“Two customers, including one who was not seated at the time, reported possible injuries and were taken to hospital. We thank our team for efforts to ensure the safety of our employees and customers,” the statement said.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident, which will include a review of air traffic control communications and radar data to determine how the two planes came so close to their final approach to land. .

This event will be the last event for United Airlines this year.
