Today, November 13, an accident occurred on the Nikolaev-Odessa highway with the participation of a Mitsubishi car and an official car of the Renault Sandero patrol police. As a result of the collision, the drivers and passengers of the two cars were taken to the hospital. This is stated in message Patrol police of the Odessa region.

Eyewitnesses of the incident reportthat the police officers, in an attempt to stop someone, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with Mitsubishi. From the impact, the police car flew over the roadway and overturned.

A woman and two children, two and four years old, were in the Mitsubishi car. In the police car there were two employees – a cop girl and a driver, who is in serious condition, an ambulance took away from the scene of the accident.

The accident injured the driver and passengers of Mitsubishi: a woman and two children (2 and 4 years old). A cop girl and a Renault policeman were also injured. Law enforcement officers from the scene of the incident have already been taken away by an ambulance.

As a result of the road accident, there are victims. At the moment, it is known about three victims in “Mitsubishi”: a woman and two children of 2 and 4 years old were taken away from the scene by eyewitnesses of the accident. The driver of the Renault policeman is also injured – there is information that his condition is extremely serious. The police girl who was in Renault was also injured. The policemen were already taken away from the accident scene by an ambulance.

Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky spoke about the measures that will be taken in order to reduce the number of resonant road accidents in the country. According to the official, with the introduction of video surveillance on Ukrainian highways the number of accidents decreased by 10%.
