A burglary while respecting barrier gestures. In recent days, the Rezé gendarmerie reports that they have solved several theft cases, one of which is thanks to… a protective mask.
Last December, a burglary took place in a house in Sorinières, south of Nantes. A man had climbed a fence and then entered through a window, taking advantage of the occupants’ absence. He had fled with jewelry, but a mask had been found by investigators in a room of the dwelling.
He denies the facts
“DNA research on the mask makes it possible to identify an individual unfavorably known to the courts”, announces the gendarmerie. The suspect was already in prison in Angers. Pending his trial, scheduled for June 2022, he denied the facts, “without being able to explain the presence of his mask in the house”.
The man is also implicated in two other similar cases, on the sectors of Ancenis and Basse-Goulaine.
