The Hérault firefighters intervene in the municipality of Teyran, at rue des Combes, this Saturday around noon, for a fire on a one-story house. The resident, a 70 year old woman, could have been taken out by two of its neighbors. The the spread of fire was stopped.
Hospital care
After inhaling smoke, the two neighbors were taken care of by the firefighters present on site and will be taken to hospital to undergo check-ups.
A risk of a possible collapse
The fire broke through the roof, which presents a risk of collapse. Currently, three water lances are in operation and on site, no less than 25 firefighters from Assas, Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers, from the two barracks of Montpellier (Montauberou and La Paillade) are deployed.
