In the somewhat gloomy context of this very special end of the year, sometimes small events happen that are heartwarming. It could be a Christmas fable, but it is a true story, full of humanity, that just lived the agents of the municipal police of Frontignan-la Peyrade.

Friday at 5.10 p.m., the reception officer of the municipal police answered a phone call from a mother. This indicates that her 6-year-old son wishes to offer the police a box of chocolate, which he would like to drop off to them to “thank you for the work you do every day in the service of people”.

“The mother and her son were therefore welcomed at the municipal police station, where the agents received, with emotion, the box of chocolates carefully wrapped in gift wrap. I do not understand why nobody gives you gifts and I would like to do it, because you are very nice policemen and my mother was helped by a policewoman with short and blond hair ”confides the child”, reveals the town hall.

“The tender officers then offered the young boy their police badge, which he looked out of the corner of his eye from time to time.”

“Faced with these unexpected and moving remarks, the officers moved then offered the young boy their police badge, which he looked out of the corner of his eye from time to time”, underlines the town hall of Frontignan-la Peyrade.

Needless to say that the little boy, whose act honors him, just like his mother, left conquered.

With her two sisters

The story doesn’t end there, however. At 6:40 p.m., the mother called the station back to explain that her son, very touched by the action of the police, asked her to participate with his two young sisters in the purchase of another gift that they wanted to drop off immediately. And it is, this time, an electric coffee maker accompanied by numerous coffee pods which are offered to the agents, very sensitive to these gestures.

“A comforting moment for these municipal police officers, close to the inhabitants, who wish to publicly and warmly thank the young boy and his family”, indicates the town hall.

At the municipal police of Frontignan-La Peyrade, Father Christmas passed before his time.
