In Saint-Romain-au-Mont-d’Or, a resident discovered human remains at the edge of his land at the start of the week. An analysis is underway to determine the identity of the deceased.
It is a dismal discovery. Tuesday, February 7 at the end of the afternoon, a resident of Saint-Romain-au-Mont-d’Or discovered, at the edge of the field, the remains of a human skeleton. According to our colleagues from Progress who revealed the facts, the deceased could be a 77-year-old man who disappeared in September 2021. Following showers, the septuagenarian, suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, fell on the path overlooking the place where the skeleton was been discovered. This man’s body was never found. An analysis is in progress to allow the identification.
In Saint-Priest, murder of a minor
In other circumstances, human remains were also discovered at the end of January in the pipes of a building in Saint-Priest. This time it was a homicide. The victim, a 17-year-old boy named Mohamed, lived in the building in question. The arrested suspect, a man who would suffer from psychiatric disorders, was arrested, and the track of a “gratuitous murder” would be favored by the investigators. On February 1, a white march was organized in memory of the teenager.
