Samuel Aussant decided to return to his original profession: carpentry. The boss of the Aussant metalwork company installed in the Plaisance area in Saint-Sauveur-des-Landes decided to sell his company which employs 25 people. The takeover of the framework, cladding and roofing business is not yet fully finalized but should take place this summer.
Samuel Aussant, who had taken over the management of the company following his father, wanted to change direction and will create a company manufacturing high-end furniture and decorative objects in metal, wood and glass. It would initially employ two or three employees.
Part of the building for rent
The company, which does not yet have a name, will set up in the Meslais area in Lecousse, on a plot of 5,800 m2 that Fougères agglomeration has just agreed to sell to him. His project is to construct a building of approximately 1,200 m² which will be divided into two. The first half will be devoted to its furniture production activity and the second will be converted into a workshop available for rent. He wishes to carry out a high quality architectural project, visible from the departmental 155 (route de Saint-Malo).
