Near East College students won the special jury prize in the science competition organized by the European Union Information Center!
The winners of the “Further with Science” experiment competition organized by the European Union Information Center within the scope of European Research and Innovation Days have been announced. Near East College 6th grade students won the Special Jury Prize in the short video competition themed “Experiments”.
The 6th grade students of Near East College, prepared by Science Teacher İpek Alemdar Akça, demonstrated the “simple distillation” method in practice in the experiment they conducted in the school laboratory. The experimental team, consisting of Erol Özkul, Aral Selvi, Barış Bahriyeli, Poyraz Çelik and Çinar Egemen, applied the solution prepared with copper sulfate and water through various processes and demonstrated the transformation stages of the solution into pure water.
