An ordinary interview almost ended in tragedy.
The life of artists is very different from the everyday life of mere mortals. The stars are assigned a whole staff of servants and security guards, who monitor the well-being, health and safety of their charges. However, sometimes coordinated work misfires. Oleg Gazmanov could have died due to the fault of his assistants.
One day the singer came to perform at a school camp. The Russian captain was going to give an interview to television crews. But as soon as Gazmanov reached for the microphone, the performer instantly switched off. Due to ungrounded equipment, he received a powerful electric shock. The artist experienced clinical death.
Oleg Gazmanov recalls that at that moment it was as if he looked at himself from the outside. The singer was sure that he was dying. But he was brought back to earth by the thought that the album was missing a couple more tracks, which meant it was not yet time to go to the next world.
