Selected several times in the U 21 team, Camille Meyer, 23, has been selected for the senior national team. An intense year for the kayaker from Pont d’Ouilly (Calvados), which participated in the World Game in the USA from July 10 to July 17. The World Games are organized for disciplines that are not included in the program of the Olympic Games. The French women’s kayak polo team won the final victory in front of the German team 3-0.
World Championship in August
Alongside Camille Meyer in N1, a former kayaker from Pont-d’Ouilly Loisirs, Éloïse Frigot. The kayak section is therefore a pool of athletes. Camille Meyer will participate in the world championships which will take place at the end of August in Saint-Omer (62), as well as her sister Nine and Charlotte Richard selected in U21. A promising future for the local kayak polo section.
