Le Iene, with Nicolò De Vitiis, followed the Neapolitan rapper Geolier, second place at the Sanremo Festival, for the entire week of the singing event.
During the report some background information was revealed starting from Geolier’s parade on the Sanremo green carpet wearing the Napoli tracksuit: “A lady from the Sanremo staff said to me: ‘But how did you come?'”. The singer is then covered with scotch tape on the SSCNapoli logo. This is Geolier’s reaction: “I looked at it, I tore it and I entered the green carpet!”.
On the evening of the covers: “There could have been Mahmood, Fred De Palma or me there, they would still boo: it wasn’t against me. Angelina had to win, what she did is spectacular. I voted for her, then I voted for myself too just to be safe Why did I win? Because it is the demonstration that when Naples commits itself to an objective, there is none for anyone: it becomes a chain! Nobody has it, no city. I won and it seems that I have to give the prize back, it was better if I didn’t win, believe me!”.
