NEANDERTHAL THOUGHT? Texas just reported ZERO COVID deaths for the first time – the Right Scoop

It looks like Governor Greg Abbott may have known what he was doing when he ended mask warrants and opened his state 100% in March:

DAILY CALLING – Texas reported no COVID-19 deaths on Sunday, two months after President Joe Biden and other Democrats criticized the state’s reopening.

The state reported zero COVID-19 deaths for the first time since it began measuring them, Republican Gov. Greg Abbott announced on Twitter. Texas also reported just 388 new confirmed cases, its lowest total since March 30, 2020.

Abbott lifted the Texas statewide mask mandate on March 2. “Texans have mastered the habits to avoid being COVID,” he said at the time. Local businesses are still allowed to demand masks, although many national chains have started lifting their own mask warrants.

This is fantastic news and just shows that the panic by Biden, Fauci and other governors was totally unwarranted:

White House chief medical adviser Dr.Anthony Fauci issued a warning to Texas and Mississippi, which also revoked its mask mandate on March 2. Desire is once again a new wave, ”he said.

President Joe Biden criticized Abbott and Mississippi Republican Gov. Tate Reeves for their “Neanderthal thinking” by lifting their masks.

California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, whose state has the most deaths from COVID-19, said Abbott’s decision was “absolutely reckless.”

Foot on the accelerator? It just proves, once again, that Fauci types don’t always know what they’re talking about. The numbers in Texas have been dropping steadily since March and even Fauci admitted he was stuck by it.

People have become so used to operating from a place of fear and we see it especially now, as people panic over the latest CDC guidelines that vaccinees can be unmasked in almost any circumstance. It’s time to step on the economic accelerator and put the brakes on the pandemic.
