Incidental arrest of two young men, a few minutes after a theft they had committed in a house in Nea Ionia, took place yesterday, Thursday 22/02, at noon by Immediate Action police officers.
The police officers, who rushed to the scene after a call to Immediate Action, found the thieves on the roof of the house, where they isolated them and arrested them.
They are a 25-year-old and a 23-year-old, who were taken to the Nea Ionia Security Department. There it was found that earlier they had committed a theft from another house, in the area of Ampelokipi.
After an investigation, jewelry taken from the two houses was found in their possession and confiscated. The arrested were taken to the competent Prosecutor.
