A 15-year-old male was arrested in connection with the spontaneous operation, by the police immediately yesterday morning (2-8-2024) in New Ionia, accused of e theft by complicity, dishonesty, damage and breach of the Law Code. Criminal Procedure. His partner is being sought.
In particular, the above police officers saw a motorcycle without a license plate in the area of Metamorfosi, with two occupants and told the 15-year-old driver to stop.
At the scene, the accused developed speed, making a move and despite the use of light and sound signals, he did not stop his course, reaching the area of New Ionia.
Then, in an attempt to escape, the accused abandoned the motorcycle and fled on foot.
At a nearby location, after a foot chase, the 15-year-old was stopped and taken to the New Ionia Security Department, who was arrested.
As it was established, the motorcycle was taken out a few days before from the New Ionia area, while the 15-year-old woman was taken out of her legal driving license.
The arrested person was taken to the competent Prosecutor.
