It is a maxi-operation of dozens of arrests that carried out today throughout the national territory at the request of the anti-mafia prosecutor of Catanzaro led by Nicola Gratteri and by order of the judge. Major exponents of the most important ‘ndrine of Crotone, Isola Capo Rizzuto and Cutro such as “Bonaventura” “Aracri”, “Arena” and “Grande Aracri” ended up in handcuffs, as well as important entrepreneurs and representatives of the public administration colluded with criminal organizations.
Thirteen people ended up in prison and 35 under house arrest, all accused for various reasons of money laundering, auction disruption, fictitious registration of assets and mafia association.
