“Let’s pray that all goes well for him. He’s a great guy and one of our best people.”added the former boss of Rugby Club Toulonnais.
At first, the staff of the N2 (4th division) club had been quite reassuring. “More fear than harm, nothing serious, maybe a concussion”assistant coach Zaki Noubir told Maritima radio. “Bailly immediately came to our dressing room to offer us his shirt and above all to hear from him”He added.
N’Diaye’s injury occurred in the 15th minute of the match, which was ultimately won 2-0 by OM. In Hyères’ counterattack, he was hit in the chest and at full speed by the foot of Eric Bailly, who arrived late.
The Var attacking midfielder was evacuated from the field on a stretcher and taken to an ambulance parked at the edge of the lawn.
