New Democracy has announced two more MEP candidates for the upcoming European elections on June 9.
In particular, the candidates will be the journalist – writer Nikos Stefos and the doctor – supervisor of general medicine B at the regional clinic of Ambrosia Rodopis Nourjan Souloglou.
With the two new additions, the ND has officially announced 30 candidates, while 12 people remain to be announced. The presentation of the entire European ballot is expected after the end of the party conference. This is expected to take place at a special event on April 10th, or Thursday, April 11th at the latest. It is recalled that the congress of the ruling party will be held on April 5, 6 and 7.
Who are the two new MEP candidates?
Nikos Stefos was born in Alexandria, Egypt. Since 1982 he has been engaged in journalism. He worked at ERT, Alpha, newspapers and magazines as a reporter, political editor and editor-in-chief and also as a newspaper director in Cyprus.
He has written two books. “2015 – Heatwave in Athens” and “Greece Time, Bucharest…”. He is a graduate of Athens Law School and speaks English and French
Nourjan Souloglu was born in Livadia in 1981 and completed primary school in Distomo, Boeotia. Then her family returned to Xanthi, where she also attended the 4th Gymnasium and then the 3rd Lyceum of Xanthi.
She continued her studies at the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from which she received her medical degree. Subsequently, he received the title of Medical Specialty of General Medicine from the University General Hospital of Alexandroupolis.
She has served as a rural doctor at the Distomo Health Center and on duty at the regional clinic of Antikyra, Boeotia. After obtaining her specialty, she worked as an assistant physician at the Yasmos Rodopi Health Center and now holds the position of supervisor of general medicine at the regional clinic of Ambrosia Rodopi. He is a member of the Rodopi Medical Association.
