On the second day of the ONE Conference in The Hague, the National Cyber Security Center and the Ukrainian National Coordination Center of Cyber Security (NCSCC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). By signing the MoU, both countries express their intention to continue intensive cooperation to combat cyber threats and to learn from each other’s experiences.

The Dutch government has stated in the coalition agreement that it will continue to provide support to Ukraine without prejudice. The fight not only takes place on the ground, but hybrid and cyber attacks are also part of the war. The MoU is an important follow-up step to the bilateral security agreement that the Netherlands has with Ukraine and is an expression of our broad and intensive cooperation.

The Ukrainian NCSCC is tasked with detecting, preventing and responding to cyber incidents and predicting potential cyber threats. The NCSCC is part of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, established on January 17, 2016.
