Boston Celtics (119) – (108) Milwaukee Bucks: The last two East champions (2021 Bucks and 2024 Boston) faced each other in a possible rematch in the conference finals. The process went so far, until in the third quarter with a good part from the Celtics (37-26), they allowed them to enter the decisive quarter with an advantage. Then Boston handled the lease and showed his credentials again.
Jaylen Brown added 30 points to the winning game, and Lillard’s 33 points were included in the game they lost.
Brooklyn Nets (139) – (144) Denver Nets: On Tuesday night, the two killed each other with goals and 48 minutes of action was not enough, as extra time was needed. In overtime, the Nuggets closed it out better with Jokic leading the way.
Another day at the office for the Serbian MVP, as he added 29-18-16, and Dennis Schroeder posted 28 for the home team.
Minnesota Timberwolves (114) – (120) Dallas Mavericks: The finals of the West were republished and although Minnesota was fighting with the infernal Anthony Edwards, the Irving-Doncic duo was very much for the Minneapolis team, which tried as far as it could.
The Dallas point guard added 35 points, while Doncic scored 24. Edwards fired him with 37 points, though they weren’t enough.
Miami Heat (107) – (116) New York Knicks: A great game in the East, where the Knicks relied on the great Karl-Anthony Towns who did everything for the New York team to win a capital victory. The Heat really missed Butler, who was not at his best on the hardwood.
KAT had 44 points and 13 rebounds, while Herro led the heat with 30 points.
Los Angeles Clippers (119) – (125) Phoenix Suns: The Suns took revenge from last week and showed what they are made of. The real figure was Devin Booker, who again had one of those nights we’re used to. Harden had another triple double, but the Angelenos did not stand up in key moments of the game and that was the key.
With 40 points, Booker was the leading scorer for Arizona, while Harden went 25-10-13.
