Overcoming a 19-point deficit, the Golden State Warriors prevailed on Friday 126-117 to Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks and took a 2-0 lead in the NBA Western Conference final.
Stephen Curry, with 32 points, and center Kevon Looney, with 21 points and 12 rebounds in the best game of his career, led the Warriors before his audience at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
Doncic stood up with 42 points for the Mavericks, who let a crucial win slip away after steamrolling the Warriors in the first half.
The tie moves to Dallas for the next two games, starting with Game 3 on Sunday at the American Airlines Center.
