Trae Young tried to quell the bleeding with a drive to the circle but Middleton answered him with a three-pointer to extend his consecutive point streak to 16. He finished third with quarterback with 23 units and the Bucks had a 19-point lead at the start of the last 12 minutes.
Young was too diminished to turn it all upside down
Young’s return didn’t change anything for the Hawks. The young superstar, injured in the ankle and forfeited in the last two matches, tried everything. But in vain: 4 of 17 on shots, 0 of 6 from behind the arc and 14 points scored. Bogdan Bogdanovic limited the breakage with 20 points. But Atlanta players have not found solutions to contain the finesse and address of Khris Middleton and the power of Jrue Holiday (27 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists).
They lacked a real stopper on the wings. A position to explore to strengthen the team during the next off-season. Because the Hawks can be proud of their careers.
