Stephen Curry didn’t have a great night at the shooting (6 of 21 for 22 points and 12 assists), but the great point guard hit a basket on the edge of the end that rescued the Golden State Warriors against the Houston Rockets, who are the worst team in the West.
The Mexican Juan Toscano-Anderson played 3 minutes without a mark on the Warriors’ statistics while the Rockets trusted their fate to Christian Wood (19 points and 15 rebounds).

Following Wednesday’s painful home loss against the Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Lakers took a breather with a win over the Orlando Magic, which are the team with the worst record in the NBA.
LeBron James (29 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists), Carmelo Anthony (23 points with 4 of 5 triples) and Russell Westbrook (18 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists) led the victory of the Angelenos against a Magic that was they deflated in the second half and in which the best was Jalen Suggs (22 points and 9 assists).
BUCKS 94 – BULLS 90
Giannis Antetokounmpo (30 points and 12 rebounds) submitted to some Chicago Bulls who today lost the leadership of the East in favor of the Brooklyn Nets and who have not been able to straighten their course after having lost four of their last five games.
DeMar DeRozan (35 points and 6 rebounds) led the Bulls in a game marred by Grayson Allen’s chilling flying foul on Alex Caruso that led to him being ejected from the game.
SIXERS 101 – CLIPPERS 102
With a fabulous collective performance and a tireless effort, Los Angeles Clippers came back from a game they lost by 24 points in the third quarter to end up surprising the Philadelphia 76ers with a great Joel Embiid (40 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists).
Reggie Jackson (19 points and 9 assists) led the group of six players over 10 points in a Clippers in which the Spanish Serge Ibaka had 2 points and a rebound in 5 minutes.
HAWKS 110 – HEAT 108
With few joys in a season so far very disappointing, the Atlanta Hawks gave themselves an important victory over a rising Miami Heat but missed a game-winning triple in the last second by Jimmy Butler.
Trae Young (28 points and 7 assists) shone for the Hawks and Bam Adebayo (21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists) stood out for the Heat.
SPURS 102 – NETS 117
The Brooklyn Nets hit the table in the last quarter to beat the San Antonio Spurs in which Spanish Juancho Hernangómez made his debut (a rebound in 2 minutes when the match was already decided).
James Harden had a triple-double for the Nets (37 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists) while Dejounte Murray did the same for the Spurs (25 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists).
NUGGETS 118 – GRIZZLIES 122
Ja Morant (38 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists) he despaired of the Denver Nuggets in which Nikola Jokic’s fourth triple-double in a row (26 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists) was not enough.
Despite their numerous casualties, the Grizzlies surpassed the Nuggets in intensity and physical waste, in which the Argentine Facundo Campazzo contributed 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in 19 minutes.
HORNETS 121 – THUNDER 98
The Charlotte Hornets chained his third win in a row with a victory without too many problems against the Oklahoma City Thunder who did not pose too much resistance.
The Hornets were guided by Terry Rozier (24 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists) and Miles Bridges (22 points and 14 rebounds) while the Thunder entrusted themselves to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (29 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists).
CELTICS 105 – BLAZERS 109
An uncontested 5-20 run in the final seven minutes served the Portland Trail Blazers a fantastic comeback on the Boston Celtics’ court.
Jusuf Nurkic (29 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists) was the hero of the Blazers while Jayson Tatum (27 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists) could not prevent the failure of the Celtics at the end.
WIZARDS 105 – RAPTORS 109
The Toronto Raptors, led by Scottie Barnes (27 points and 8 rebounds), dominated the second half but ended up suffering in the end to beat the Washington Wizards.
Bradley Beal (25 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists) was the top scorer for the Wizards in which the Brazilian Raul Neto had 2 points and a rebound in 5 minutes on the court.
JAZZ 111 – PISTONS 101
Without too many frills and perhaps with a few extra rushes, the Utah Jazz beat the Detroit Pistons to get back on track after losing three of their last four games.
Rudy Gobert (24 points and 14 rebounds) was the highlight of the Jazz while rookie Cade Cunningham (25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists) gave Detroit hope.
