Norman Powell had 28 points, Pascal Siakam added 26 and the Toronto Raptors hit 19 3-pointers to overwhelm the Washington Wizards 137-115 on Wednesday night.
Seven players from the Raptors they scored at least one three-point shot. Kyle Lowry led with five of nine triples and finished with 21 points. Toronto made 59% of its long-range shots (19 of 32).
Siakam and Powell each had three 3-pointers for Toronto to spin for its fifth win in six games and improve to 4-1 on its current road trip. After he started with a win in seven games, Toronto he is close to having a winning record at 12-13.
Chris Boucher scored 17 points and Fred VanVleet had 15. Seven Toronto players reached double digits.
NBA leading scorer Bradley Beal, who averages 33.3 points per game, had just 24 and the Wizards lost to the Raptors for the eighth time in a row, including four in a row at Washington.
Russell Westbrook, who was out in Monday’s win against Chicago, came back to score 23 points, including 19 in the second half. He added seven assists and six rebounds.
Rui Hachimura had 15 points and seven rebounds. Robin López contributed 13.
