The NBA returns to Mexico City this coming November 9. The expected NBA Mexico City Game 2023 between the Orlando Magic vs. Atlanta Hawks comes to the ESPN screen and Star+ subscribers sharply at 8:30 pm, live from the Mexico City Arena, led by Ernesto Jerez and Fabrizio Oberto.

In total, 118 international NBA games have been played, 84 in preseason and 34 in the regular season. Since 1992, Mexico has hosted NBA games; no other country has hosted more NBA games outside of the United States and Canada. 29 of the 31 NBA games that have taken place on Aztec soil have been in Mexico City and the remaining 2 in Monterrey. This confirms Mexico as the largest international host of the NBA. The November 9 game in Mexico City will be the 32nd game played on Mexican soil. It was not until 1997 that the first NBA regular season game took place in Mexico, where the same Houston Rockets defeated the Dallas Mavericks. Overall, 22 different teams have participated in both preseason and regular season games in Mexico. Orlando Magic will play for the fourth time in Mexico, while the Atlanta Hawks will do so for the first time.
