It is reported that the NBA you are considering the style format of the World cup for the restart of the season
According to reports, a group format in the style of World cup for the first round of the playoffs the NBA it’s one of the ideas the league is currently considering for a summer comeback.
According to Kevin OâConnor of The Ringer, a survey sent to general managers last week suggested that the league would divide teams with the top 20 best records in âtiersâ and then create even groups.
The teams they would then play two games against each of the teams in the groups (eight games total), with the top two teams advancing to a second round of eight teams.
The advancing teams would then play the best-of-seven standard series for the remainder of the playoffs.
ESPN’s Zach Lowe reported that âseveralâ current playoff teams are not âenthusiasticâ about the format of the World cup.
