Bitter evening for the Dallas Mavericks.
Head Coach Rick Carlisle’s team lost their home game against the Los Angeles Clippers 99-109. Until shortly before the end, the Mavs were up to four points on the guests, but the individual quality of Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard prevailed in this phase of the game.

With 22 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals, the two-time final MVP led the strong collective of his team. A total of seven players scored double-digit points at LA.
Doncic mad at the referee
At Dallas, Luka Doncic was once again the most noticeable player. With 25 points, ten rebounds and 16 assists, he put on a triple-double, but could not prevent the bankruptcy of his team. The Slovenian, who also managed seven turnovers, was in the foreground especially after the game. (SERVICE: The tables of the NBA)
His team had equalized an inglorious team record during the game: In total, the Mavs were only five times on the free throw line. A clear case for Doncic when asked who was to blame. “I won’t say anything. I’m trying not to get a fine. You whistled it that way today. I hope you whistle better next time,” the 22-year-old criticized the referee.
Incidentally, the Clippers stood on the free-throw line eleven times compared to the Mavs.
Kleber had a weak day
In addition to Doncic, Kristaps Porzinigs was the most striking player in the Mavericks with a double-double of 22 points, nine rebounds and 14 assists. The German Maxi Kleber did not have its best day with three points.
