“I am horrified that we have a leader who cannot say that black lives are important.” It is clear what the country needs: “A president who shows himself and simply says that black lives are important.”
“The system has to change”
The 71-year-old coach of the San Antonio Spurs emphasized that it is not just about Trump: “The system has to change.” Popovich said that he would do everything in his power to help. “Because that’s what leaders do. But he can’t do anything to get us on the right track because he’s not a leader.”
