The Italian eNational team returns to the field for the NBA 2K25 European qualifiers on PS5, facing Hungary and, potentially, France. With 11 victories out of 12 pre-qualifiers, the Azzurri are aiming for the final phase.
From October 29th to November 1st the title will be played online NBA 2K25 on the PS5 platform. It is a period of great activity for Italian eBasket. The first day of the was held FIP eBasket Tour 2024the Italian 5v5 and 1v1 championship, and the qualifiers of the Italian eBasket League, a 3v3 tournament organized by FIP and Lega Basket of Serie A, have started, with the final phase in presence scheduled for Frecciarossa Final Eight next February in Turin.
A phase of successes and challenges
The Azzurri face this phase of the FIBA Tournament III with an extraordinary record of 11 wins out of 12 matches in the pre-qualifiers, finishing second after France in Group C. The first match will be on 29 October against Hungary at 7.00pm, live on Twitch. The popularity of the eNational is growing: the twelve pre-qualification matches have been gathered 5055 unique viewers and a total of 8520 views on Twitch, with the expert voice of casters Fabrizio Antinori, Giovanni Musig, Simone Trimarchi and Andrea Pecile.
Great competition
The European qualification will see the participation of 16 nationswith the top eight entering the final phase scheduled for November 2nd to 3rd. The format of the tournament will be direct elimination, best of three matches. The captain of the eNational team, Ilyass Kamalwarns of the risks of the match against Hungary and recognizes France as one of the most dangerous opponents: “We must start concentrated against Hungary – his words – and be ready to then go and challenge France, one of the favorites of this Tournament and vice champion of the world. Having already beaten her in the first phase means nothing. We start off as equals, but they are one of the best teams on the continent”.
