NBA 2K25 Season 2: Take the Challenge and Become the Best of the Best starting October 18th

Today, 2K officially announced the start of Season 2 of NBA® 2K25 with the introduction of new content and rewards in MyCAREER, MyTEAM, The W Online and more, arriving with the start of the 2024 NBA season- 2025. The second season of NBA 2K25 features the Denver Nuggets point guard and champion
NBA Jamal Murray. Players can expect amazing content, including a special in-game version of Murray’s signature New Balance TWO WXY v5 shoes, new songs and digital outfits from EMPIRE – Season 2 soundtrack partner; plus exciting new rewards and updates debuting within NBA 2K25’s most popular game modes.

Together, we are shaping an immersive experience that fits perfectly with the NBA 2K community.” NBA 2K25 Season 2 includes exciting new updates for the following game modes:
- MyCAREER: Players will be able to earn rewards by climbing from level 1 to level 40, unlocking items such as the “Stuff the Magic Dragon” Pet at level 20, the “Media Day” hairstyle at level 23 and the “Mummy Costume” at level 39 Season 2 also introduces the 2K x New Balance TWO WXY v5 shoes at Level 32, with a design inspired by the gem and diamond levels of NBA 2K25. The Season ends with the Level 40 +1 Limit Exceed reward, useful for obtaining higher ratings and increasing the maximum potential.
- MyTEAM: Season 2 introduces new MyTEAM cards that include high-level players from the current NBA, Hall of Fame stars with a particular aptitude for scoring and a roster of shooting guards, among which we find Jamal Murray. Players will be able to create their MyTEAM lineup for the start of the 2024-2025 NBA season starting from a level 1 Jamal Murray Sapphire card, which offers “Evolution eligibility”, up to an 89 Ruby card. To continue their climb , players will be able to compete for cards like the Obi Toppin Amethyst at level 20, the James Worthy Diamond at level 35, and the ultimate reward at level 40: the Tyrese Haliburton Pink Diamond.
- Season Pass: NBA 2K25 Season 2 includes 40 tiers of rewards, with the Season Pro Pass* players can unlock an additional 40 tiers with premium content such as the Cleveland Cavaliers Moondog Mascot skin, the Denver Nuggets Rocky Mascot skin, the Costume of the Emissive mummy and the Pro Pass level 40 Pink Diamond Tyrese Haliburton card.
- The W Online**: Compete in The W Online as the WNBA Finals approaches, earning Halloween-themed cosmetic in-game items, VC, and exclusive in-game items like the “Sheryl Swoopes Coach” Card and “Game Changer” Jersey. This season’s rewards also include a Scorpio Hoodie, a Witch Hat, and a number of other cool items.
- 2K Beats: In Season 2, NBA 2K Beats partners with EMPIRE, the renowned San Francisco-based label, distributor and publisher known for its forward-thinking approach to the digital music age. Players will enjoy a specially curated playlist featuring emerging icons alongside multi-platinum and award-winning artists, such as 310babii, Lil Yee & Lil Pete, Babyface Ray, BabyTron and more. Today 2K also announced Gravity Ball, the new game from Visual Concepts South, the development team behind Lego 2K Drive. Gravity Ball is a fast-paced online multiplayer game – accessible through NBA 2K25 The City as an optional paid DLC – where players team up for a futuristic experience with unconventional rules that offer unique competitiveness.***
Entering an arena-like structure, players will compete 3v3 or 5v5 and attempt to outmatch the opposing team by taking aim at a series of numbered targets. By working together with teammates to keep the ball, players will fight their way past the defense and use power-ups to beat the opposing team in this crazy game. With a multi-level playing field and four different Power-ups, Gravity Ball is pure chaos, outside the lines.
