NBA 2K League players are the best in the world at what they do, so it’s only fitting that they compete with the best gaming equipment in the world
Jakarta (ANTARA) – The NBA 2K League has entered into a multi-year partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment that has made the PlayStation 5 the league’s official console company.
The deal goes into effect this month, which will allow 23 NBA teams and 138 active players to compete on PS5 hardware during upcoming games and events.
To enhance the partnership, the Three for All Showdown Qualifier, which will take place on April 5 and 6, will be held on PlayStation. The winners of the qualifying event will continue to compete in the Three for All Showdown on April 9 and 10.

PS5 will serve as the sponsor of the event, and will feature 2K League players, fans and social media influencers competing for a share of the $ 25,000 total prize pool in a three-on-three fight.
“NBA 2K League players are the best in the world at what they do, so it is only fitting that they compete with the best game equipment in the world,” said 2K League President Brendan Donohue, quoted from the Dotesports page, Saturday.
“PlayStation is a longstanding global leader in interactive entertainment, and we are delighted to be able to leverage their gaming expertise and technology to create the optimal experience for NBA 2K League players and fans,” he added.
PlayStation will appear in many league broadcasts through branding and signage in the league’s physical and virtual studios.
2K League will also host another global fan tournament via the PlayStation Competition Center. A collaborative content series will also air on the upcoming 2K League broadcast and social media channels in the coming months.
