Joel Embiid capped his 39-point night with the decisive basket with 1.5 seconds remaining to give the 76ers their fourth straight victory after a game in which they came back from 21 points behind.

James Harden contributed 19 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, while for the Blazers, Anfernee Simons contributed 34 points, without a prize.

LAKERS 122 – RAPTORS 112

The Lakers’ bench contributed 61 points to the Raptors’ twelve and the Angelenos sealed a great victory to place ninth alone in the West (33-34) with their third consecutive victory.

Darvin Ham’s team is just one win away from the sixth place of the Dallas Mavericks, which gives direct access to the ‘playoffs’.

On a night in which Anthony Davis did not exceed eight points, D’Angelo Russell had 28 points, with five 3-pointers, in his return after six games out due to injury. Dennis Schroder had 23 and Austin Reaves had 18 coming off the bench.

HEAT 119 – CAVALIERS 115

Jimmy Butler led with 33 points, twelve of them in the fourth quarter, the Heat’s home win against the Cavaliers, and thwarted Donovan Mitchell’s 42-point night.

Erick Spoelstra’s team relaunched its ambitions to fight the Brooklyn Nets for sixth place in the East.

The Spanish Ricky Rubio completed a great game with eight points, eight assists and three rebounds. He made up for the notable loss of Darius Garland, affected by a contusion in the quadriceps.

SPURS 128 – NUGGETS 120

The Nuggets lost for the first time this year when Jokic signed a triple double, after adding 25 consecutive victories. The Serb contributed 37 points, eleven rebounds and eleven assists, but his team suffered its second consecutive setback after the surprising beating received by the Bulls.

The Spurs, penultimate in the West, could count on 23 points from Keldon Johnson and twenty from Doug McDermott, with four of four on triples.

WIZARDS 107 – HAWKS 114

The Hawks sealed their second victory in two days at the Wizards field, boosted by Trae Young’s 28 points, and reinforced their eighth place in the East (34-33).

The Wizards, despite Bradley Beal’s 27 points, are tenth and lost their advantage over the Chicago Bulls, who can catch up with them in the table with a victory this Saturday at the Houston Rockets, bottom of the West.

TIMBERWOLVES 123 – NETS 124

Mikal Bridges and Spencer Dinwiddie scored 63 points, 34 the first and 29 the second, and the Nets signed a great victory in overtime against the Timberwolves.

The Nets left behind the defeat suffered against the Milwaukee Bucks and strengthened their sixth position, which gives direct access to the ‘playoffs’.
