NBA 2021/22 Season Guide | The main transfers of the summer | NBA

If there have been a significant number of changes among the coaches, for this season, on the floors as well and as always in the NBA, players have changed jerseys during the summer. Signings and transfers were less impressive than some offseason but there was still a lot, including a former MVP.

It is obviously Russell Westbrook (crowned in 2017) that we are talking about, the most prestigious profile among the players who will evolve this season under different colors compared to the previous exercise. The former Oklahoma City and Houston point guard is one of a dozen former All-Stars who moved during the offseason, and many of them are now in Los Angeles, with the Lakers.

The other significant transfer is that of DeMar DeRozan to the Bulls in a “sign-and-trade” organized by the Spurs to allow him to land a big contract. The exchange between Goran Dragic and Kyle Lowry also marked the spirits, even if the two playmakers are now over 35, and are rather at the end of their careers.
