That we in The Suicide Squad getting to see a striking character has been known for a while, but now it is clear that we also get to see Nazis in the DC film and that of course deserves some explanation!
This probably has everything to do with the actor’s character Peacemaker John Cena. He is also called the “douchebag Captain America” and of course he has a past. Speaking to Comicbook.com, Warner Bros. ‘Peter Safran clarifies. the situation, as Task Force X in the film is supposed to “investigate” a Nazi camp in South America.
“There they have to destroy a Nazi-era prison and laboratory called Jotunheim. Political prisoners were held there and experiments took place.”
Peacemaker’s father
In the comics, Peacemaker has a father who was the leader of a Nazi camp, probably the Jotunheim camp. We will see how it will turn out in the film in the summer of 2021. Below also a new look at the cast in the film by director James Gunn.
