Nazi slogans and drink driving: Germans reported

A 35-year-old German citizen presented a slip of paper with Nazi slogans to an unsuspecting passerby in Sankt Lorenz on Saturday. The German asked him to read the slogans aloud. However, the man vehemently refused. After the passer-by rejected him, the 35-year-old went back to his car, got in and drank beer there. A short time later he drove away in his vehicle, made the Hitler salute from the driver’s window and shouted right-wing extremist slogans.

In the meantime, the passer-by had notified the police. The alerted officers managed to stop the German driver after a short drive. The police carried out an alcohol test on the noticeably drunk man. The result: the German had 2.44 per mille of alcohol in his blood. His driver’s license and car keys were taken from him on the spot.

As the reason for his visit to Austria, the heavily drunk German stated that he could no longer stand it in his home country and had therefore been in Austria for about a week and lived and slept in his car.

He is reported for drinking and driving and for violating the Prohibition Act.

Alcoholic drinks with 3.06 per mille

It is thanks to an attentive car driver that an alcoholic driver was stopped by the police in the Schärding district on Saturday evening. The driver noticed the car of a 43-year-old on the B136 between Münzkirchen and Sankt Roman, because he steered his vehicle most of the time on the left side of the lane. In the local area of ​​St. Roman he touched a priority sign, which severely damaged it. However, the driver simply continued driving after the collision.

Since the driver suspected a health cause for the abnormal driving behavior of the 43-year-old, she followed him to his home address and at the same time notified the emergency call.

When the police arrived, the 43-year-old was visibly drunk on a bench in front of his house. He confessed to the officers that he had gone home “with a few beers” and was remorseful. The police did an alcohol test. This resulted in a value of 3.06 per thousand alcohol in the blood.

The driver’s license was immediately taken away from him and he has to expect several reports.
