Jay is playing the lead role in ‘Nayanthara 75’ directed by Nilesh Krishna with Nayanthara in the lead role. Jai and Nayanthara reunite after ten years. Both of them acted in ‘Raja Rani’ before.
Produced by Zee Studios, the film is one of Nayanthara’s big budget films. The film’s director Nilesh Krishna is Shankar’s co-director. Nilesh said that he decided to become an independent director after working with Shankar on ‘2.0’ and ‘Indian 2’ from 2015 to 2019. The cinematography for the film is handled by Dinesh Krishnan, who has worked on ‘Thana Sernthakutam’ and ‘Sudhu Kavum’.
The script was all right for the film but the project was not done as it was a big budget film. That’s how he decided to make a film with a woman as the central character. Nilesh also says that Nayanthara’s face came to his mind when the first draft of the script was completed. The first schedule of the film has been completed in Chennai. Reportedly, the shooting will resume in Trichy after taking a break. The film is being prepared as a family entertainer.
