New Delhi: 5th E.K. of Janasaskriti King’s Way Camp Branch. The Nayanar Memorial Football Tournament will be held at Abedkar Stadium, Delhi on Sunday. The matches will start at 8 am.
Saket Fitness FC and Delhi University teams will compete in one division and Sunday Club and Manjapada Delhi teams will compete in one division. In the second division, FC Between Janasaskriti Rohini and Kairali Properties, F.C. Hastal and will compete.
The winners from both sides will meet in the semi-finals. The semi-winners of both sides will reach the finals.
Winners will receive E.K. Nayanar Memorial Everrolling Trophy and Rs 40,000 will be awarded. The runners-up will be awarded a trophy and Rs 25,000. There will be an individual trophy and cash prize for the best player, best goalie and top scorer categories.
The tournament, which started in 2016, was not held in the last three years due to Covid.
The tournament was held at the Model Town Chhatrasal Stadium in previous years and this year is the first time that the tournament will be staged at the Ambedkar Stadium.
