Nawaf al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah – the sixteenth Emir of Kuwait, was born on June 25, 1937. In 2006, he was declared heir to the throne of the al-Sabah dynasty. He served as head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Minister of Defense and Deputy Prime Minister.
