Censor board’s clean U certificate for VK Prakash’s ‘Oruthi’ produced by Benz Nasser under the banner of Benz Productions. ‘Oruthi’ is the return of Navya Nair’s favorite actress to the silver screen after a long hiatus. Navya Nair, who made her film debut with Ishtam, became the favorite Balamani of Malayalees with Nandanam. The first look announcement video and poster of Oruthi, who brought back Balamani, who won the state film award for Navya, received a lot of attention on social media. The first look poster with the tag line ‘The Fire in You’ was well received by the audience.
After a long hiatus, Navya returns as a strong and different character. The story, screenplay and dialogues are by S Suresh Babu. Jimshi Khalid is the cinematographer. Editing by Lijo Paul and music by Gopi Sunder and tin band. Jyothish Shankar is the production designer of the film, which has lyricists Dr. Madhu Vasudevan and Alankode Leela Krishnan. Along with Navya Nair, Vinayakan, Santosh Keezhatoor, Mukundan, Jayashankar, Manu Raj, Malavika Menon and Krishnaprasad have a strong cast.
Sameera Saneesh is the costume designer of the movie which is handled by Ratheesh Ambati. Dixon Potutas is the production controller and KJ Vinayan is the chief associate director.
