Mirko has been avoiding talking about Greta for several days, not wanting to do something wrong, or say something wrong. Inevitably, the boy has thought and thought about his relationship with his, perhaps, current girlfriend and with the presence of his ex in the house everything seems to be re-evaluated. “I must not make the mistake of putting others before my needs” says the competitor, while he vents to Angelica. He no longer wants to limit himself, deprive himself of something, he no longer wants to unconditionally accept things that he finds wrong.
“If I think about what happened with you, I think it’s crazy” says Mirko, referring to the clash that occurred between his friend and Greta during the previous episodes. The competitor says that it was difficult for him to go out the red door, talk to Greta and pretend nothing happened. He did not accept either the girl’s thoughts or actions, the statements made, the continuous disagreements created even outside the House and, again, the use of social media to wage a battle. They are all elements that intersect in his mind and that make him understand that he has doubts about this relationship.
“You tried to defend her. Now, it’s indefensible” Angelica counters, agreeing with the ideas expressed by her friend: “Instead of appreciating the person you are, he said some negative things”. According to the girl, the time has come for Mirko to move forward, discover more about himself, and commit to safeguarding his needs.
“Even with Perla, I always seemed to be the wrong one. I don’t want to feel guilty anymore” continues the competitor, this time he wants to put himself at the center of his life, too many times he has felt wrong, too many times he has thought about the feelings of others first: ” I realized that I put myself in the background. Making things happen that don’t suit me, I don’t want to do it anymore.”
He doesn’t know how it will end with Greta, nor does he know what will happen with Perla, what is certain is that Mirko now wants to be free. “Have the courage to make certain choices, without thinking about others or people’s judgments” Angelica advises him, and not only that, she also urges him to look beyond the two girls. Then, if one of the two is his destiny, she will understand it, but also accept that his destiny could be different.
