Navigating Mental Health in a Relationship: Anna Trincher’s Painful Divorce Story

The artist shared what was most difficult for her in this relationship.

Ukrainian singer Anna Trincherwho told How do they share property with their ex-husband? Alexander Voloshinadmitted what she has experienced over the past six months.

The divorce from Voloshin became very painful for Trincher; she really wanted to save the family, however, the depression that Alexander was in had a great impact on their relationship. According to Anna, the most difficult thing in a relationship with a person who has a mental disorder is not to go crazy:

“The hardest thing is not to fight yourself. This is a constant wounding of anxious, obsessive, own thoughts. And you are constantly stewing in this shit. This is the problem specifically with the depression that Sasha had, that he withdrew into himself and became very negative tuned towards me. I felt irritated,” admitted Trincher in an interview with Masha Efrosinina.

In turn, Anna said, she did everything to save the marriage. The artist went to psychologists to understand what she was doing wrong in relationships:

“In August alone, I visited about five different psychologists, with whom I had several sessions. This was literally every day. It was a completely different pricing policy – from a thousand UAH to eight thousand UAH in one hour. I was ready to give money for the sake of my happiness and mental health. I had a question about what I was doing wrong, that our relationship had turned from absolute happiness to absolute unhappiness,” Trincher explained.

Anna added that Voloshin’s depression began six months ago, her husband visited psychiatrists and was treated with medication. However, this did not always give positive results:

“He was treated with medication, endless psychiatrists. Some of them gave recommendations that led to a deterioration of the condition and gave medications and their dosage such that it led to suicidal thoughts,” said Trincher.

And she named the diagnosis that was given to her now ex-husband:

“Sasha began to experience depression six months ago. This is a clinical diagnosis. Obsessive-compulsive disorder. I sincerely hoped that this would not affect our relationship, but when you live with a mentally unhealthy person, you also begin to get mentally ill, whether you want it or not. no. Especially when you love this person very much. Sasha, by his psychotype, is a very cold and distant person, and I am a very warm one. Now he is in remission, he is much better. He has learned to cope with disturbing thoughts,” Trincher commented.

Let us recall that, meanwhile, Anna Trincher’s ex-husband responded to the reproaches that their relationship and marriage were hype.
