Letizia’s insecurities pile on top of each other, until she explodes and argues with Paolo. The girl says she feels tired of always hearing other people’s opinions, first about her person, then about her relationship, then again about how lucky she is to have the boy in her life. “Why should you feel less if a person next to you appreciates you?” asks the butcher, shocked by his roommate’s speech.
“I’ve always felt like I’m not enough, I always have to hear that I can’t find someone like you anymore” Letizia blurts out furiously, but Paolo is no exception: “I’m also tired of hearing these things said to me, as if this thing weighed on you” . Suddenly, the two competitors argue without a reason, moving away from the balance they were finally finding.
The photographer feels the pressure of the opinion of others, an opinion that focuses on her relationship with Paolo. In recent days, especially the new competitors, have complimented her on the boy’s attentions, all understanding towards her. It is always pointed out to the girl that Paolo is very courageous, being able to face the demons of Letizia’s past. This brought the contestant face to face with her insecurities that completely overwhelmed her.
“I know who I have close to me, I’m happy to have a person like you” continues Paolo, astounded by Letizia’s speech, who admits: “It’s something that causes me pain, because it makes me feel insecure”. The boy, however, seems to have no patience and states that these are words that he constantly hears from the girl, who never manages to put aside the opinion of others
“It weighs on me, you’re lucky to have me too” says the girl, who always hears how lucky she is to have him in her life, but Paolo tenderly replies: “The fact is that I know it!”. Letizia remains silent and the boy asks her: “More than telling you that you are important to me, what should I do?”
The two seem to calm down for a moment, the photographer is still locked in her bubble, he remains next to her in silence, while he looks at her.
The hug after the argument
After the discussion, Letizia hugs Paolo and he reminds her that his favorite moment is sleeping with her: “When you are on my chest and you fall asleep like this, close to me. Often I don’t want to fall asleep, because I’m afraid that that happiness will pass” .
The girl melts at these words and he continues his confessions, telling her that if he doesn’t wake her it’s not to make her sleep more, but to make her stay in his arms.
“You are special” says Letizia and Paolo: “You are even more so”. And so, thanks to a hug, the Paoletis return to being the couple we are learning to know.
