On Thursday (May 26), previously unknown persons stole the navigation system from a gray BMW parked at the Donnersbergring. In this context, the police are looking for whistleblowers. The vehicle has the so-called “Keyless go” system. The investigators therefore suspect the use of a radio wave extender to open the car. They then removed the navigation system and fled undetected with their loot. Overall, the damage is estimated at several thousand euros. Anyone who has observed anything suspicious in this context or can provide other relevant information is asked to contact the criminal police (K21/22) in Darmstadt on 06151/969-0.
