Naver invests 150 billion won in Spanish e-commerce company Wallapop

According to foreign media on the 25th, Naver indirectly invested 115 million euros (155.5 billion won) in Wallapop through the European startup investment fund’K-Fund’.

Wallapop is an e-commerce app actively used in Spain. It is said that it is often used for second-hand transactions between individuals, such as’Carrot Market’ and’Lightning Market’.

A Naver official said, “The investment is true, and it is a decision that takes into account the fact that the resell sector is attracting attention,” he said.

Naver is investing in European startups through the K-fund invested in 2016. K-Fund is a fund managed by Corelia Capital, a venture capital (VC) founded by former French Minister of Culture, Fleur Pellerin.
