Alexei Navalny’s mother and lawyer were informed by the prison colony where the Russian opposition leader was imprisoned that he died on Friday of “sudden death syndrome”, his close ally Ivan Zhdanov claimed today in a post on Platform X.
Navalny’s support group, in a Telegram post, accused his “killers” of trying to “cover their tracks” by not handing over the body to his relatives. “It is obvious that the killers want to cover their tracks. That’s why they don’t give Alexei’s body and hide it even from his mother” highlighted in this post.
What is “Sudden Adult Death Syndrome”
“Sudden Adult Death Syndrome” or more correctly “Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome” is a condition that has been around for decades.
Specifically, Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome (SADS) occurs when a person’s heart seems to stop for no reason, often in people who appear to be perfectly healthy.
As Canadian healthing.ca reports, SADS first appeared in the late 70s and early 80s with the CDC calling it “sudden unexpected nocturnal death syndrome.”
“This is a term used to describe unexpected deaths in young people, most often occurring in people under the age of 40,” the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners said.
Also, the term is used when the autopsy cannot find an obvious cause of death.
