Kasargod: Transport Minister Antony Raju reiterated that the Navakerala bus is not a luxury. The minister said that there is no suspense about the bus, it is a poor bus. Antony Raju said that it should not be treated like a murder case, the excess is just a washroom. This was reported by Manorama.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan mentioned about the bus during the opening speech of the Navakerala Sadas yesterday. “We checked and did not find any luxury, the Maghyams can check,” said the Chief Minister.
Before starting the Navakerala Sadas, Minister Antony Raju inspected the bus parked at the district police headquarters premises. Tourism Minister PA Muhammad Riaz inaugurated the washroom of the bus. Apart from the door steps, the bus also has a hydraulic lift for boarding and alighting. It was inaugurated by Minister Anthony Raju. At the push of a button, it can be used to let passengers off the bus and back on. Only one person can go down the hydraulic lift at a time.

Antony Raju asked that there was a revolving chair inside the bus and how it became a luxury. The minister said that this seat set up for the chief minister is designed in such a way that he can turn back and talk to the ministers as well as facing forward.
The revolving chair is designed to rotate 180 degrees. There are two national flags inside the bus. The bus also has speakers for listening to music and more. Besides, the sides of the bus, which is painted brown, have graphics of famous structures of Kerala. Images from Padmanabhaswamy Skhetram to Bekalkota are included in this way.
