Perinthalmanna: Along with the excitement for the World Cup venues in Doha, Perinthalmanna Kattupara native PC Naufal will be one of those to keep the excitement going. Naufal is the leader of the volunteers who manage the spectators in the main venues. Naufal is the son of late Abdul Jabbar and Mumtaz of Kattupara PC House. Naufal’s serve is at Lusail Stadium, which is the largest stadium in Qatar and the venue for ten matches, including semi-finals and finals. Naufal is also active as a FIFA volunteer as a Qatar Museum volunteer and as a volunteer at the Indian Embassy to help those who come from India watch the match.
Naufal was also a member of the jury that selected the 20,000 volunteers for the World Cup. The team, including Naufal, surveyed about 60,000 people over 3 months. Naufal also had a 30-member support team to train 20,000 volunteers. Naufal is also ahead to receive star players who have come to evaluate preparations for the World Cup. Naufal has served in various industries in Qatar. Naufal, who is the District Chairperson of Qatar OICC INCAS Malappuram, is a leader in DOM Qatar, Qatar Malayalees, Qatar Yellow Guard and INCAS Youth Wing. He studied in Qatar until the third grade.
