Brigitte Marolles will host her fifth conference, on a theme that is dear to her, History.
It will take place on Tuesday February 7 at the “Voyageurs”.
A former history teacher at Saint-Martin College (master’s degree in literature and history graduate), she enabled the college to win the Resistance competition 19/20. The college received in return a letter signed by Simone Veil, Member of the European Parliament. 80 years ago, on February 2, 1943, Nazi Germany signed its surrender at Stalingrad, a deadly battle that claimed 800,000 lives and sounded the death knell for Nazism. From 1939 to 1941: the axis is then composed of Germany, Italy and Japan which were at the time the masters of the world.
From 1941 to 1942, we speak of the bisector of the war, it is the moment when the forces are rebalanced. From 1943: the beginning of the end of Nazism, the title of the conference.
